the channel24 reports that The bubbly DJ started her radio career after winning the Gauteng station's Hot Jocks search more than a decade ago. She is also a well-known television personality and event emcee who has twice worked at the station.
In a terse statement issued on Staurday, Moloi's publicists, Click Management, offered no reasons for her departure.
"Her current focus is her foundation Kgaketsa, which aims to uplift young people through career workshops and expos; her Avon Ambassadorship; and her music," the statement reads.
Her replacement has already been identified. On Friday, Highveld issued a statement saying that Rofhiwa Bologo, widely known as "Tholi B", will take over Moloi's 13:00 to 16:00 weekday slot.
"We recognise Moloi's significant contribution to 94.7 Highveld Stereo over the past three years. We wish her everything of the best in the future. She has contributed much to the station," said Ravi Naidoo, the station's programming manager.
